Career Strategies Inc. is now hiring a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician for a multifamily community in Joshua, TX . This role requires previous hands-on experience in apartment maintenance , including work orders , make readies , and unit repairs .

Job Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operations of the property and ensuring that all units and common areas are safe, functional, and move-in ready. Key responsibilities include:

• Work Orders : Respond to and resolve resident maintenance requests involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs.
• Make Readies : Prepare vacant units for new residents by performing tasks such as painting, drywall repair, fixture replacement, and cleaning.
• Preventative Maintenance : Conduct routine inspections and address minor issues before they become major problems.
• Common Area Maintenance : Ensure all shared spaces (e.g., laundry rooms, clubhouses, fitness areas) remain clean, functional, and well-maintained.

Requirements:

• Direct experience in apartment maintenance is required
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and drywall
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
• Must have your own basic tools and reliable transportation
• Professional, dependable, and able to communicate effectively with staff and residents
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
