Job Title: CNC Maintenance & Repair Technician – 2nd Shift

Location: Syracuse, NY

About the Company:
Remedy Staffing LLC—acting on behalf of a global leader in advanced manufacturing with operations across multiple continents—is seeking skilled CNC Maintenance & Repair Technicians for their Syracuse facility. This is a full-time, 2nd shift role with competitive pay and full benefits, supporting the maintenance and reliability of high-precision production equipment.

Core Hours:
2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Compensation:
The starting pay for this position is $34.86 per hour. Actual pay may be higher depending on your qualifications, skills, and experience—exceptional candidates with advanced expertise may be compensated above this rate. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
• Disassemble equipment to identify issues; replace worn or defective parts; reassemble in compliance with safety regulations.
• Calibrate and adjust CNC equipment for optimal operation.
• Interpret and work from complex ladder logic diagrams, schematics, manuals, and blueprints.
• Conduct electrical testing procedures and troubleshoot printed circuit assembly boards.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial motor control systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance (electrical/mechanical), OR 1 year plus a related technical degree/journeyman certification.
• Ability to read ladder logic diagrams, motor control schematics, and blueprints.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven CNC maintenance experience in a production environment.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Two-year degree in electronics or equivalent military electronics background.
