Role Overview:

Sodexo  is seeking an Executive Chef 3to join our team at  Georgia College & State University , located in historic  Milledgeville, Georgia . Georgia College & State University (GCSU), Georgia’s public liberal arts university, is renowned for providing a practical education with real-world experiences, including internships, study abroad programs, and undergraduate research. We serve a large and diverse student body through our Residential Dining and Retail Units, as well as internal and external catering services. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Executive Chef to join our team and lead culinary operations, ensuring excellence in food quality, service, and innovation. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. Incentives: *Relocation Assistance Available* What You'll Do:

• be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
• ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
• have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
• ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
• have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
