This position is classified as an hourly position with the context of Washington State Law. The primary responsibility is operating tools and equipment to remove snow and ice from paved surfaces. Position is PART-TIME, ON-CALL. Personnel employed with this position will be paid a monthly stipend equivalent to 20 hours at their base rate of pay. Additional hours worked in excess of 20 hours per month will be compensated at the hourly rate.
This position reports to the Airport Maintenance Supervisor or the on-duty Snow Control Supervisor and will run from December 2025 through March 2026 (commitment to the entire season is required). Shifts average 8-10 hours in length and may be extended up to 16 hours if necessary. A CDL is desirable but not required.
