Compensation: $28.00 / hour

Location: Charlotte, NC

For hourly positions: Mon-Fri. 7:30 am-4:00 pm

 

Responsibilities:

· Communicate with appropriate parties as per SOP/ Process

· Be proactive in identifying potential product issues and communicating then to other departments

· Participation in and leadership of Continuous Improvement projects

· Communicate within Logistics Team and with other departments for issue resolution and process improvements

· Attend daily meetings

· Assist with the loading of trucks as needed to support customer demand

· Ship/Receive/Validate all product deliveries and returns

· Receive and process invoices for payment

· Maintain housekeeping standards

· Create and update the plant schedule as needed.

· Coordinate the shift trade, vacation, and overtime processes.

· Update timekeeping system frequently to ensure accuracy of employee time records.

· Monitor compliance with corporate Hours of Work (HOW) policy daily.

· Ensure that scheduling needs and changes are regularly posted for employees to view.

· Track, maintain, and update a central employee cross training matrix.

· Administer a defined forced overtime process as needed and ensure full transparency for employees.

· Answer employee questions about their work schedule, overtime, vacation, sick time, and attendance occurrences.

· Maintain open communication with resources on the status of scheduling in their respective areas.

· Provide backup support for other administrators as needed.

· Participate in regular safety and quality inspections such as daily plant safety inspections, Food Safety Behavior Observations (FSBO), Safe Behavior Operations (SBO), sensory testing, etc.

· Provide clerical/administrative support to the Plant Manager as needed.

· Maintain confidentiality of employee records and personal information.

· All other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

· Background and experience in key functions of Supply Chain including but not limited to Warehousing, Transportation, Reverse Logistics, Returns Management, and Customer Service preferred

· SAP experience preferred

· Flexibility and adaptability

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Organizational skills and detail-oriented: Work on more than one assignment at a time remaining focused with frequent interruptions, changes, and/or delays. Maintain a great attitude.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access), strong Excel skills a plus!
