The Senior Accountant will oversee general ledger accounting and construction accounting operations with an established, stable company. Why join us? • Lead monthly close processes and oversee journal entries.
• Prepare financial statements and detailed work papers for all reporting periods.
• Manage year-end close and assist with audits.

Financial Analysis

• Reconcile trial balances, intercompany accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
• Investigate unusual fluctuations in job cost activity.
• Conduct variance analyses and ensure data accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Project Accountants and partner directly with the Controller on special projects.
• Support audit preparation and execution with external stakeholders.

Professional Skills

• Thrive in fast-paced environments and independently manage multiple tasks.
• Show meticulous attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of Accounting Experience; preferably in construction or related industry Job cost variance analysis and experience with Pay Applications and WIP schedules.
