This role involves owning test planning, automation efforts, risk management, and quality evaluation within the Unreal Engine Audio team. The Senior QA Engineer will coordinate testing efforts, contribute to automation tools, and collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality audio features across platforms.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate automated, functional, qualitative, and performance testing efforts using manual and whitebox techniques.
• Develop and review automated test cases and tools within Unreal Engine framework.
• Engage with product owners, developers, and QA teams to define requirements and build test strategies.
• Report quality metrics and analyze data to inform quality improvements.
• Collaborate with internal QA teams, such as the Fortnite team, for testing coordination.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years creating automated test cases and testing tools, preferably in C++, Python, Unreal Engine Blueprints.
• 2+ years working with audio development, software, or related fields.
• 3+ years of software testing experience in fast-paced environments.
• Technical knowledge of game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc.) and scripting languages.
• Experience with audio features, DAWs, and scripting audio functionalities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with debugging tools and IDEs.
• Understanding of test methodologies and experience with multiple operating systems and gaming platforms.
