Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

Our client, a leading alternative credit firm, is seeking a Vice President of Investment Operations to join their growing team in NY. This individual will play a critical role in loan administration, portfolio operations, and treasury management, supporting the firm's investment activity. This is a hybrid position requiring four days per week in the office.

• Oversee the operational management of a complex alternative credit portfolio, including loans, equity investments, SPVs, and asset-based financings.
• Manage the full investment lifecycle from origination to exit, including restructures and corporate actions.
• Set up and maintain investments in internal systems; process loan draws, repayments, and generate borrower/lender notices.
• Create and process wire transfers, ensuring accurate transaction booking and reconciliation in the accounting system.
• Coordinate closely with borrowers, partners, servicers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and execution of responsibilities.
• Lead onboarding and closing of new investments, including preparation of memos and investment structure documentation.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations, support treasury decisions, and assist in preparing capital call and distribution materials.

• 6 10 years of experience in fund operations, preferably within a credit fund, hedge fund, or sell-side bank.
• Strong understanding of private credit instruments and loan operations.
• Proficient in accounting systems; experience with FM3, WSO, or Geneva is a plus.
• Familiarity with treasury operations such as wire transfers and FX hedging is a plus.
