Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, located in the Sainot Louis, MO area is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Federal Tax Analyst to join their tax team. This client offers strong benefits, and 401(k) match. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to grow in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position is scheduled as hybrid 3 days in (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.) Duties:

• Prepare U.S. federal income tax returns (Form 1120) for a consolidated group
• Calculate and process quarterly estimated tax payments and annual extensions
• Prepare U.S. income tax provisions in accordance with IAS 12
• Analyze uncertain tax positions and support internal SOX controls
• Reconcile tax accounts and ensure general ledger accuracy
• Support external audits and IRS inquiries
• Conduct research on technical tax issues and new legislation
• Lead or participate in process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, legal, and external advisors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred
• 0-2 years of experience in a corporate tax department or CPA firm
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and OneSource tax software
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as BPC or HFM is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
