HVAC Service Manager

Ocean Park Mechanical is one of the premier design-build mechanical contractors in the USA, and Western Canada with operations in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, and British Columbia. By providing the majority of mechanical requirements in-house, including engineering, 3D-design, plumbing, sheet metal, HVAC, refrigeration, and controls, we are a “ONE-STOP” shop for any project.

Purpose of Position:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager . The HVAC Service Manager will provide leadership to multiple OPM technicians on a variety of projects for the installation, maintenance, and repair of modern plumbing and HVAC systems. They will ensure all work meets regulatory plumbing system requirements. The HVAC Service Manager will assist the service operations team with completing work orders, billing and scheduling in a timely manner with utmost efficiency, remaining within budget all while maintaining a high-quality standard.

  • Competitive base salary of $80,000 to $120,000 USD per year D.O.E

Job Location: Irvine, CA. This is an in-office position.

Reporting Structure: This position will report directly to the Regional Manager

Job Responsibilities:
  • Explore new opportunities with a goal of growing customer base, revenue and profitability
  • Diagnose & provide solution for customers HVAC needs
  • Prepare quotes based on customer’s needs
  • Create work orders, purchase orders, and secure equipment when job has been approved, track materials until ready for pick up
  • Provide maintenance on new & existing buildings
  • Update filters list, order monthly filters, and receive filter invoices
  • Assist technicians with promoting services where possible
  • Monitor labor hours, job progress and cost
  • Evaluate manpower efficiency and make adjustments if required
  • Ensure client satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the project


Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of HVAC experience in commercial or high-rise residential buildings
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.
  • Ability to ensure accurate documentation including customer records
  • Meets sensitive deadlines on a consistent basis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time
  • Sound knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Excel, and MS Project
  • Knowledge of Viewpoint Spectrum ERP, and BuildOps an asset
  • Knowledge of Trimble AutoBid and Bluebeam an asset
