​ BrightKey is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate to grow their team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of products within the warehouse. This role involves pick/pack operations, palletizing goods for shipment, operating various warehouse equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

• Pay: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour

• Days: Monday through Friday
• Location: Annapolis Junction, MD (on-site)

• Pick/Pack Operations:
  • Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders.
  • Pack products securely to prevent damage during shipping.
  • Label packages with shipping information and ensure proper documentation.
• Palletizing Goods:
  • Organize and stack products on pallets for shipment.
  • Ensure pallets are stable, secure, and meet shipping standards.
• Equipment Operation:
  • Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and cherry pickers.
  • Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
• Inventory Management:
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
  • Assist in managing stock levels and reordering supplies as needed.
• General Warehouse Duties:
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Assist with receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred. 
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [specific weight]).
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Offer of employment subject to drug and background screening. 

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks that require repetitive motions.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
